One farm has a different twist on Thanksgiving. Last week, when most were eating turkeys, Farm Sanctuary was feeding them, according to the New York Times.
Rather than making turkeys the centerpiece of the meal, they feed rescued turkeys. The turkeys welcome a feast of pumpkin pie, cranberries and squash. They’ve been doing this for 25 years, and they encourage others to adopt turkeys instead of eating them.
Would you skip the main course and feed part of your Thanksgiving dinner to a turkey?
