Northern Lights Go South

I thought the Northern Lights were called “northern” for a reason; however, this week, “a cloud of charged particles from the sun slammed into Earth” which spawned glowing red and green lights across the U.S. and the brightest lights were seen in three Southern states: Georgia, Alabama and Arkansas.
