The Key to Living a Long, Mobile Life

Sometimes exercising a few times a week just to stay fit can seem like a chore, other times people overlook it altogether. Exercise, however is an extremely essential part to living a healthy, mobile life. In a New York Time’s article, Jane E. Brody, 69 writes about what you should continue to do from your younger years to make sure you’ve still got it in your 70’s. At age 69, Brody found herself with enough energy to hike the Grand Canyon. It is important to stay active and keep moving, if you do, your age of immobility will be modified, and you will be able to enjoy a healthy lifestyle. Even if it’s walking for 30 minutes every night, just make sure you get started, do something that you find enjoyable and you’ll see the benefits.

For motivation on getting active, check out and cheer on New York City Marathon runners this Sunday. The wave 1 section (most competitive runners) starts off the Marathon at 9:40am.
