Eco (and kid) friendly Halloween Haunts

Here are some environmentally themed activities for this Halloween season!

Want to go see the World’s Largest Pumpkin or press your own apple cider? Head on over to the New York Botanical Garden’s annual Halloween Hoorah!

From now until the end of the month, NYBG is offering a variety of activities for kids and adults. Sort some pumpkin and apple seeds, play in a giant pumpkin, or join the Garden’s “Pumpkin Gardeners” for a Halloween parade.

If gardens aren’t quite your cup of cider, then go to the Wildlife Conservation Society’s New York Aquarium on Coney Island for their A-scarium exhibits. Go on a haunted sea-fari and learn about problems our oceans are undergoing. Make a pumpkin craft or watch a musical performance about sea animals.
