10/10/10 Is A Day to Celebrate

What’s the last environmental documentary you saw? If your answer is An Inconvenient Truth, then you need to clear your schedule for this coming Sunday. Teaming up with 350.org’s 10/10/10 Global Work Party, environmental campaign The Switch will be hosting movie screenings across NYC. For all you Brooklyn-ites, there will be a screening of No Impact Man in Williamsburg. The film follows an NYC native as he goes, well…native. No taxis, no take-out, no television. It’s pure “green” glory. Check out the trailer.

Tribeca Cinemas will be showing two films, Crude and The Age of Stupid. These films are similarly green-minded. So it’s this Sunday (October 10th) at 1:oo pm (duh). For information and to buy tickets, go here.
