If you were in NYC last week, you undoubtedly remember the horrendous storm that swept through last Thursday. If you weren’t in NYC, you at least heard about the two tornadoes that touched down. For some it was just an inconvenience. For others, it might have been more than that. Power outages. Obstructed roads. Expensive umbrellas ravaged by maniacal winds. For one population, it was far worse.
It has been estimated that at least 2,000 trees were taken down by last week’s thunderstorm. With another tornado watch in full effect, it might be time to say goodbye to your favorite oak.
